Learn how Ghost Robotics removed latency and interrupt loops on their legged robots
Ghost Robotics, a developer of legged robots, provided Tyndall Air Force Base with the VISION 60® Q-UGV® 5th, a versatile robot dog capable of patrolling and ensuring security in diverse terrains. To enhance its functionality, Ghost Robotics integrated Concurrent Real-Time’s RedHawk Linux operating system, which improved the robot’s performance by eliminating latency and interrupted control loops. RedHawk’s real-time determinism and CPU shielding features allowed for smooth operation and task prioritization. The collaboration with Concurrent Real-Time provided comprehensive support, ensuring the success of Ghost Robotics’ legged robot platform. Tyndall AFB praised the robots’ performance and Ghost Robotics’ commitment to improving their systems.
