Concurrent Real-Time Honored with Prestigious 2022 Military + Aerospace Electronics Innovators Award
Pompano Beach, FL

Concurrent Real-Time, a global leader in high-performance real-time Linux solutions for mission-critical applications, announced today that its Redhawk KVM-RT real-time OS software was recognized as a Platinum-level honoree by the 2022 Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards.
“On behalf of the Military + Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards, I would like to congratulate Concurrent Real-Time on their Platinum–level honoree status,” said Military + Aerospace Electronics Editor in Chief, John Keller. “This competitive program allows Military + Aerospace Electronics to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products impacting the aerospace and defense community this year.”
RedHawk KVM-RT, Concurrent Real-Time’s virtual real-time solution, is the best real-time Linux hypervisor on the market today. RedHawk KVM-RT is based on the Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) hypervisor, a Type 1 hypervisor that is included with the company’s RedHawk Linux Real-Time Operating System.
With KVM-RT, automotive OEMS and Aerospace & Defense organizations with time-critical applications traditionally requiring dedicated real-time boxes can now share hardware platforms with non-real-time operating systems and applications and still guarantee real-time performance. This enables engineers to better utilize hardware resources, decrease waste, and reduce hardware and energy costs.
“We’re honored to receive this prestigious award for our KVM-RT software,” notes Ken Jackson, President of Concurrent Real-Time. “Our customers can now combine multiple separate systems running Redhawk, Windows or Linux into one system while still being able to run hard real-time on the Redhawk virtual machine,” he added.
