Subi
Meet Subi, our Lead Software Engineer in the FPGA Workbench team. She holds a master’s degree in computer science from Stony Brook University, NY. Her core interests revolve around mathematics, problem-solving, and algorithms.
Within Concurrent, Subi plays a pivotal role in developing software for FPGA boards and IP cores across FPGA Workbench and Simulation Workbench software. She is in charge of the entire software lifecycle, including rigorous system and software testing, dedicated customer support, and seamless system integration.
Subi’s enthusiasm as a software engineer is deeply rooted in her passion for cutting-edge technology. Her quest is to unearth innovative solutions that enhance our lives in diverse ways. She firmly believes that Concurrent has provided her with an exceptional platform to collaborate with brilliant minds and actively contribute to real-time solutions.

Valmer
Valmer earned his bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). During the summer between his junior and senior years at FAU, Valmer accepted an internship on the Concurrent Real-Time Linux Operating Systems team. During his internship, Valmer completed projects that provided valuable experience with real-time, Linux, and virtualization while under the mentoring of highly experienced software engineers.
Upon graduating, he accepted a full-time role as a software engineer on the Linux OS team where he continues to gain valuable experience and works with his team to develop RedHawk Linux hard real-time solutions.

Internship Program
Our internship program is intended to provide a learning opportunity in a professional working environment for undergraduate and graduate students in engineering and computer science. Our interns bring us new perspective, specialized strengths and skill sets while learning from experienced employees on navigating the product development and deliverable life cycle.
Our program helps interns develop soft skills like professionalism, leadership, and effective communications in preparation for a full-time position.

FAQ
We seek students with high academic achievements who have a desire to learn, grow, and become technical and subject matter experts.
We focus on computer science- and engineering-related majors but also select other majors based on current needs.
Most of our interns are college students, but we also consider high school students.
Currently, our internships are located in our corporate headquarter facilities in Pompano Beach, FL.
Our internships last 8-10 weeks and are usually scheduled to start in May or June and end in July or August, but we have flexibility and make decisions based on current needs.
Due to the nature of our work, we typically do not hire students who require sponsorships, but exceptions may be made.
