Romina is a full stack engineer on the Web Development team as well as a release engineer for Concurrent Real-Time’s RedHawk Linux products. While still at university she started as an intern working on the NightStar suite – five software tools that allow end-users to analyze and debug real-time operating systems.
She holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Computer Science. As an engineer, she is passionate about applications of technology that better our world and help solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges. Being part of the Concurrent Real-Time family, whose cutting-edge technology in deterministic software, operating systems, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, allows her to do that and more.
Valmer earned his bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). During the summer between his junior and senior years at FAU, Valmer accepted an internship on the Concurrent Real-Time Linux Operating Systems team. During his internship, Valmer completed projects that provided valuable experience with real-time, Linux, and virtualization while under the mentoring of highly experienced software engineers.
Upon graduating, he accepted a full-time role as a software engineer on the Linux OS team where he continues to gain valuable experience and works with his team to develop RedHawk Linux hard real-time solutions.
